We recently carried out a hoarding printing and installation job for Stone World based in North London. Stone World are a leading retailer in London and were looking to find a way to promote their business to passers by as they expanded their business. They contacted us to print and install the hoarding on the existing parameter fence.
The hoarding printing process.
As part of the process one of our estimators travelled to London to measure the length of fencing that required hoarding installed on it. We then offered the client a number of options as to how to cover the fencing - either using full sized Aluminium Composite panels or by using half sized panels. The client decided to reduce costs by using half sized panels to cover the required ground. This was then designed by our pre-press team on Adobe Indesign to give the client a visual reference as to how the finished job was projected to look. After approval the boards were printed on our state of the art presses as close to the artwork as possible. Our presses are capable of printing up to 1440 dpi and giving a fine art finish which meant that the printed graphics were exactly as the client expected.
After the boards were printed a two man team travelled down to London and worked diligently to ensure that the boards were installed within one day as specified by the client. During this installation process the team worked closely with the existing site manager to ensure that they were compliant with site health and safety regulations in place on the site.
